Vibe Magazine “Rick Ross Is On The Hunt For His Next MMG Artist”

Rick Ross is making bawse moves once again. The “All I Do Is Win” rapper is partnering up with Dina Marto’s Twelve Music Group to launch a new platform for music makers called Artist First. Along with the initiative, Ross also launched the opening of a Maybach Music Group office at Twelve Music Group Studios in Atlanta, according to AllHipHop. Marto – who has previously worked with L.A. Reid and has overseen Atlanta’s Def Jam Office – also played an influential role in Rick’s career. Ross’ partnership with Marto will also help seek out new talent for MMG as a part of a label-promoted search. “We’re launching a talent search for the next MMG artist,” Ross said. “We gon’ do it big. We gon’ go through this Artist First platform.” “This is the new home for Maybach Music,” Marto added. “Their artists will be recording here. Executives will have offices here, so they can get work done while they’re in the city of Atlanta.” The Miami rapper also recently released his new MMG NY All-Star ’15 mixtape in lieu of NBA All-Star Weekend.
